OUR FEATURED MEMBER! H & H PET SERVICES LLC. PET SITTING AND BOARDING

Hey everyone!

My name is Heather and I am the co-owner of H & H Pet Services LLC. We specialize in Professional Pet Sitting and In-Home Boarding.

Here with me is Hana, one of my foster pets that is looking for her own Forever Home. Please let me know if you are interested in finding out more about her!

FOR HANA! Yes, if you are interested in adopting Hana or a different chihuahua please call Heather: 602-524-3565

My partner Heidi is a Veterinary Technician.

We have been in business since April 2007. I met Heidi when she worked at Queen Creek Vet and did a great job taking care of my numerous pets that I would bring in for routine exams. She fell in love with my 2 pound Toy Chihuahua (Tinkerbell) and wanted to make some outfits for her. She came over to my house with the outfits and she commented on my property/acreage. I told her it was my dream to start a doggie daycare. She said it was her dream too and that’s how we got started! We combined our love of animals with our different experiences to create H & H Pet Services LLC.

Right now we offer professional pet sitting at a client’s home (1-2 visits a day) in most of the East Valley or boarding at my home in Queen Creek. We are hoping to later expand into doggie daycare, grooming, and possible transportation services for people that cannot take their pets to the vet.
Our pet sitting services include TLC for the client’s pets and doing routine duties around their home so that it does not appear vacant. We can alternate lights, bring in paper/mail, trash, waste pickup and water plants. We also offer dog walking for an extra fee.
Boarding is provided right in my own home! Our clients love that the boarded dogs are part of my home and not a kennel environment or kept outside.

Dogs have acreage to run, play, and learn to socialize. I also board cats and caged pets. I am planning on making various improvements to my property throughout this year and into next year to expand our business.

We have experience with many animals including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, fish, horses, and exotics (I have sugar gliders myself). We board all sizes and breeds of dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes – including Pitbulls and dogs with special needs.

I also recently became a foster mom with AZ Chihuahua Rescue. Chihuahuas are my favorite breed and I have 3 (soon to be 4) of my own! It has been very rewarding to take care of a dog in need until you find their forever home – but also sad to see them go.

Our company enjoys participating in local dog events such as the Petsmart Charities Petwalk, Barktoberfest, Chihuahua Races, and Woofstock – to name a few. We are a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and fully insured. We also recently passed a Pinal County inspection to obtain a kennel license so we can board more dogs in our future expansion.

FEATURED AZ PET PROFESSIONAL MEMBER SHEILA IYENGAR, OWNER OF LOTUS DOG TRAINING AND BOARDING AND RESERVATION REWARDS ANIMAL RESCUE

Our FEATURED MEMBER, Sheila Iyengar, owner of Lotus Dog Training and Reservation Rewards Animal Rescue.

What a privilege it was to interview and FEATURE our Az Pet Professionals member, Sheila Iyenagar!
Sheila has been a member of Az Pet Professionals February 15th, 2009.
Sheila, a professional dog trainer and owner of both Lotus Dog Training and Boarding and Reservation Rewards Animal Rescue, was ever so gracious in letting me take up part of her busy work schedule the morning of March 31st.

Sheila offers in home dog boarding and training as well as rescues and fosters dogs that are looking for their very own home. Most of these dogs are from the Reservation. If you are interested in adopting or fostering one of these special dogs, please go to their website, Lotus Dog Training and Boarding at:  http://www.lotusdogtrainingandboarding.com/.

New to her beautiful, spacious property, Sheila and her pack moved into their new place a little over a month ago. I was so impressed by the new facility! It was so spacious, clean, professional, and warm and cozy. It appeared organized and bright. The dogs were happy and vocal as I came in to observe.

In addition to her spacious home and Boarding facility there are dog runs outside as well as two very large and spacious “Play Pens” for the dogs to enjoy supervised “romp and play”. There is an additional lengthwise fenced area that offers as a holding area for a dog that may be getting his area cleaned and tended to or just too simply stretch his legs.

Sheila and her Kennel Manager, Lani have big plans for the new facility. In the next year it will be exciting to watch them grow and implement the many plans they have for the business. Hoping to be able to add more outdoor/indoor runs for the dogs as well as a in ground salt water, play pool for the dogs. I am excited to watch the growth!
Anyone out there with extra salt water pool supplies that they would like to donate??

If anyone would like to donate supplies that they could use such as lumbar, fencing, concrete, sprinklers, landscaping plants, (especially large shade trees) etc. or Dog related items such as dog kennels, food, dog beds, bowls, etc. please contact Sheila at: 480-776-4863.

The first fur friend I met this morning was “Nyah” whom has been with Sheila for over a year now. Nyah continues to look for her own special family. Nyah is approximately 6-7 yrs old and she is good with kids and other dogs. No cats for this girl please! What a sweet girl! Please consider adopting an older pet! Older pets have already grown out of bad habits and love to please everyone!

The second fur friend I met was Bandit. What a sweet boy he is! Sheila thinks he is part Lab, Siberian Husky, at best. Bandit is approximately 2 yrs. old and would love a family of his own! He loves kids, cats and other dogs. What an ideal pet and such a sweetie!

The third fur friend I met was Smokey. He is approximately 8 months old and loves kids! He has lots of energy and is very active therefore requires an experienced pet owner.
What a handsome, charming fellow he is!

The fourth and last fur friend I met this morning was Carmella. Carmella is an Aussie Mix with perhaps some Boxer mixed into the groove. She is approximately 1 years old. She loves kids and other dogs.

Carmella was found on the Reservation and had been hit by a car. She sustained many injuries including a fractured hip. With extensive care Sheila and Lani got her back on track. The use of the Treadmill has aided tremendously in her recovery.

Here is Lani, the kennel manager at Reservation Rewards. She is shown here with Carmella assisting her on the Treadmill for her daily therapy to help her hip heal.

These are just a few of the pets that Sheila currently has up for adoption. To view more pictures or to inquire about any of the pets above, please visit Sheila’s website at: http://www.lotusdogtrainingandboarding.com/ where there is a link to Reservation Rewards Animal Rescue. You will also find information on Sheila’s Dog Training and Boarding.
